hebron was the 4a div. 2 state champ last year. and our record is 9-1 this year in 5a. our only loss was our first game (god it was horrible to watch) against cedar hill. i think the final score was 43-6 (?). oh well. but if we win this saturday against Justin Northwest we'll be playing cedar hill again and i think it would be a sweet game to watch. Trinity vs. SLC?!?!?! i gotta see that!

yeah, i really dont care about homecoming. it was on the same day as Tournament of Champions and some people in our band didnt want to even make finals because they wanted to go home and get ready for the dance. that makes me angry, but oh well, that night turned out alright. (1st place)

wow, when i heard that Westfield was last with a score of 87.7, i was like holy ****! and then when we were called 9th with a score of 89.3.... that was just mind blowing for us, we had never scored so high before. last year we scored something like an 82 to get 14th place. crazy stuff man.

we have sunday football games and/or ultimate frisbee, we have a Brass BBQ, an annual lock-in, a spring trip, and most of the sections do something like us tubas have a party in early summer and then again right before school starts. sometimes we play wallball outside the band hall. on busses it gets pretty crazy, the low brass bus is amazing! theres just too much to talk about really.

we have football playoff duties to fulfill and band placement auditions next week so we really dont know anything yet.

i just hope we have another great show next year. Hebron is pretty much all about getting that roaring crowd reaction (in finals at BOA SR we got two standing O's it was amazing!) we perform a lot better with a huge crowd and a fun show that shows off our strengths. hopefully we continue our climb upwards in the BOA and UIL arenas.

two of my friends have made concepts for two shows recently with me contributing some ideas and music. and they are coming along really nicely

us and haltom seem to be placed together a lot lately... we were right after them in area prelims as well.

im really interested to see how we'll fare at state, considering we havent competed with anyone there in a UIL competition except for haltom, richland, bell, and marcus. should be an amazing tuesday!

i wish i could go to GN's. that would be amazing.

i dunno, marcus and l.d. bell are pretty frikken good. oh, and dont forget about that one school, hebron or something? i hear they're doin real good this year.

yeah, even though i havent gotten to march yet, ive seen that kind of thing happen a lot in drum corps.

wow . . . that is just too freakin big! they could split into 3 decent sized marching bands, seriously, why dont they. just too much! they have something like 28 tubas in all....thats more tubas in their band than trumpets in mine.

area B was great yesterday, but i wish there was another advancement spot, there are a lot of great bands around here.

yeah, we got a little crazy lol. but for us to make state the first year that we're in 5a, not to mention in the hardest area in the state, is huge for us. good luck to all who made state, i cant wait.

crazy, tomorrow will be quite a day to remember.

we have quite a few "weak links" but thank goodness most of them are alternates. id say, the flutes, clarinets, and b-tones are hit hardest with them. the tubas are alright . . . besides the fact that we have 8 spots and only 7 marchable tuba players at the moment. which really sucks we were supposed to have like 9-11 tubas this year... oh well the ones that stayed are doin really good.
