Some strong band programs will go to US Bands every now and then but hardly ever do multiple or big powerhouses attend. Although I wouldn't be surprised to see more bands attend soon since every year the competition gets tougher and great band programs don't even make Finals at BOA contests.

Don't have the full results, hopefully they'll be posted soon. Forney swept in 5A though, not taking away from Forney but I was surprised Wylie or Sherman didn't take some captions. Now Area C might not be like Area D but after watching some Area C bands here at MMF, this year is for sure gonna be the best Area C contest ever. There are the obvious 5 (Waxahachie, Forney, Poteet, Sherman, and Wylie) who most would pick as State Advancers, but a good chunk of bands have vastly improved since the last cycle. Wylie East, McKinney North*, McKinney, Rockwall Heath, Lovejoy, and Prosper* are gonna make Area C a lot more interesting to watch this year IMHO. *= Wasn't at contest I would like to say North Forney has improved too but I haven't seen any videos of them since 2013. Anyways, good luck to everyone in Area C this year!

And my conclusion is you can't stand to be wrong and always want to be right plus always wanna have the last word. My first comment was meant as a sort of joke. And you could've just dropped it right after cause no one wants to see an argument on here. My sigh was my way of saying, "This isn't even worth arguing about so I'm just gonna end the conversation here".

Poteet's new uniforms

Poteet HS "X" Full 1st Movement: Performed at the feeder middle school gym Acoustics aren't the best in there so listen closely lol We've still gotta clean it up of course but hey, it's a nice headstart

Not a tuba player but intense breathing exercises are basically mandatory to play tuba haha. And just a thought, might actually be a bad idea lol, but maybe try buzzing on a trombone/baritone mouthpiece if you can't get much out from the tuba in the beginning, may make the transition easier.

Newman Smith, Sherman, Azle, Boswell and Poteet are gonna be fighting for those 2 spots and IMO all have an almost equal shot of taking one. Azle's been doing pretty good lately and they and Boswell have great percussion sections, not TOO familiar with Newman Smith but solid in every aspect, Poteet has the size factor but need to clean up their drill+music, and Sherman, although didn't have the best season this year, is still capable of doing damage. I'm also predicting that two of the 2013 Finalists don't make it this year, not sure who but just a prediction.

Wish my band would do this haha But smart decision on the directors (although I'm gonna miss seeing the sheer size of Round Rock)

Is this for sure or most likely? I wonder how next season is gonna play out for them if they do split it, I assume the JV band is gonna be fairly small. Most likely the split'll help in competitions though.
