    not trying to offend anyone at all but i think the judges rankings were correct in finals when all the bands were out together at area E. that is why finals exists to closely look at the best bands and put them in order. my own two cents.

    To me, any of the following bands could make finals and will probably be the top 28 for sure. This is in performance order so I just went through and based on what I've seen this year and previous years put them in a list. 1. Cedar Ridge 2. Westlake 3. Round Rock 4. Cedar Park 5. Dripping Springs 6. Keller Central 7. Hendrickson 8. Pflugerville 9. Vista Ridge 10. Cypress Falls 11. Westwood 12. Vandegrift 13. Claudia Taylor Johnson 14. Ronald Reagan 15. Winston Churchill 16. James Martin 17. Friendswood 18. Hebron 19. LD Bell 20. The Woodlands College Park 21. Pearland 22. Wakeland 23. Marcus 24. The Woodlands 25. Oak Ridge 26. Keller 27. Leander 28. Flower Mound

    there are easily 20-25 bands that could make finals. anyone else think there should be some kind of semi finals performances?

    Isn't Friendswood usually a lock for state and usually 1st place at area? What has happened this year to make them not be locks? Just curious as I haven't been able to see their show yet.
