Schedule is uploaded! Per the plano east website. Not sure if the Jasper mentioned is the school in Plano or Jasper because it was mentioned to be a 4A. Asides from that everything else seems to have been mentioned in here asides from the addition of the Prosper Richland school.

Im really curious on McKinney High this year, I really liked their visuals but there was no audio in the recording I had, Ill try and get a recording after game 2 but theyve been on a steep incline the past 2 years and I hope it continues to trend that way

I will say, Mckinney has made SO MUCH PROGRESS! My Cousin goes there and she said they're already all the way through their ballad drill wise. They have an OUTSTANDING Trombonist playing their ballad solo this year and its not only technically difficult but lyrically beautiful, so id expect them to win tons of points at area.

The colony and wakeland are playing each other tomorrow at Toyota stadium, that’s going to interesting to see both.

No disagreement here. Just hard to really push the top bands when you can't create the same powerful sound. Their show last year was awesome.

Just saw Emerson from Friday night. Pretty solid visually, and they have a nice sound, although not very powerful like Lone Star and Argyle. Very, very different from last year and I also think this could do really well for them. Few stick-outs from a mello and baritone in the opener, and some somewhat major timing issues but aside from that should shape up really nicely! I definitely have them now up in finals ahead of Heritage and Liberty.

it's not listed on the website (or anywhere for some reason) but the exhibiton band for boa SA will be the University of North Texas Green Brigade! I am an alto sax here, super hyped to finally march in the alamodome 😆

Maybe just my experience but when Rockwall played at The Star, the acoustics were NOT band friendly.

First halftime performance from Sachse this year! Coppell did not perform their show tonight. Show starts at 1:35:50. Here are my first thoughts of Sachse this year: I’ve always felt that Sachse’s shows are unique in the sense that how the shows are designed felt out of place in comparison with other bands they compete with (2018, for example). Last year was a step in the right direction, but I didn’t feel like they had crossed that barrier yet. This year, I believe Sachse finally has a show, in terms of design, that’s on par with other bands they compete against. The music arrangement has more structure and flows way better, and there is a good mix of percussion and wind features (something they were lagging behind on). I have always felt that their choreo was too basic, but now they are finally experimenting with new ideas. That alone raises the potential of this group; they will be a force for years to come. They sound great already! When cleaned up, they will sound really powerful!

Yeah, some of these boa line ups this year are crazy. A lot of bands are doing BOA houstan and BOA shenandoah

Glad y’all are coming back!! Also, Im also happy to announce that I can confirm I will be attending this contest for a 3rd consecutive year!! Super excited, as this event has been nothing short of incredible with insanely stacked lineups!
