92 SCV is good stuff for sure. Not necessarily clean in a lot of places, but a "fun" show to listen too. I think their placement was accurate. I think I figured out their problem though. The years they spell things out (i.e. '92 - "SCV", '05 - "USSR" "CCCP") they drop in the rankings :P

does anyone else think that show shouldve gotten higher than 7th place, or am i the only one that absolutley loves this show???

I can see where the judges were coming for when they put that show 7th. There were a TON of good shows that year. SCV 1992 is still my favorite drum corps show of all time though, I don't care what place it got.

Results of the 2006 DCI Classic Countdown!!!!

Who will win the overall vote? Is it the 1995 Madison Scout's high and loud sound to capture the title or will 1993 Star of Indiana's finesse take it away? Or can an underdog come out of no where (2000 Cavaliers? 1984 Garfield Cadets? or even the 2005 Bluecoats?) and hold the bragging rights over everyone else?

Can't wait!!!!!!!

i really want 96 regiment and blue devils to win
and 2003 bd. dont think thatll happen sad.gif

1996 Phantom Regiment is ineligible to participate in this year's DCI Classic Countdown because it was already on it last year.

Edit: Woops, it was already mentioned.

Some interesting choices from the voters. Three of my votes: 1984 Cadets, 1989 Phantom Regiment, and 1993 Star of Indiana made it. I am really suprised that 1995 Madison Scouts did not make it. Though there is always next year. But there is still a twist in the process. Maybe there is going to be a wildcard or we get to vote for the number one corps out these twelve. We will not know until March 3. Should be a great show!!! See you at the movie theater.

I must say, I love it. I'm a bit sad that the 1995 Madison Scouts didn't make it. But, oh well.

Some of my favorite shows made up half of the list....

1989 Phantom Regiment

1992 Crossmen (People aren't really familiar with this show since it placed sixth. A MUST SEE.

1993 Star of Indiana

1995 Cavaliers

1999 Santa Clara Vanguard

2004 Carolina Crown

2005 Bluecoats
