Thanks! If anyone has the complete prelims, I'm interested in how some of those middle-of-the-pack groups did.

Surprising prelims result! Many band surprised me in term of placement. Sulphur springs was favored second behind Lonestar from what I heard at the competition. Not making top three in their division much less not qualifying for finals was boggling to say the least. Overall a great competition to attend and Great band all around. Can't wait to see how they play out in the future and see them improve. Canton was also a surprisingly placement btw.

Sulphur Springs was loud, I will give them that.

Agreed, Canton was my second choice for 4a. I understand how judges view bands differently than us spectators.(they prefer tone and balance while most spectators prefer volume and visuals). They were originally 2nd but apparently the judging was messed up and they got bumped down North Lamar took their spot in top 3

Then Sulphur Springs was 14th. I was told they were right in front of Canton.
