Xenon Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 Highland Park will be playing Marshall for the 4A Division I State Championship on Saturday. Nothing too big right? Well, Highland Park has a very dedicated (and rich) fanbase and had over 12,000 fans in attendance at last week's game at Texas Stadium. The problem is that Marshall won the coin toss for deciding where the game would be held and they picked a high school stadium in Tyler that only seats a total of 14,000 people and Highland Park was only alotted 5,000 tickets. So... Check out what these $5 tickets are going for on e-bay. http://cgi.ebay.com/Texas-HS-State-Champio...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/Texas-HS-State-Champio...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/Texas-HS-State-Champio...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/Texas-HS-State-Champio...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/TX-HS-Championship-Mar...1QQcmdZViewItem Edit: Fixed Links. Edit2: I just noticed that mimijoanm has the top bid on 8 tickets valued at almost $1000 Quote

sax5warrior Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 Blame the coaches that vote on the UIL rules, not the UIL itself. still...its sad when not all 32K fans of each team cant go, but others just keep whining about the size of the staduim instead of being happy about their team playing in the 3rd week of December instead of being past the 1st weekend of November, i kno i would love to be in their shoes right now Quote
