I haven't seen the North Forney Band in its' short life, and Newman Smith and the Colony are always solid. Is it better from the press box? It seems like they didn't have as much power to their sound. They are 75% freshman and sophmores, and the woodwinds are the power this year. Next year the brass section will be stronger and a year older. Even with this so called lack of power, they still play and march well, and I know you mean what you put well. They will be stronger with more of a brassy sound next year.
