lionbc
I'm playing a bass clarinet solo called Deepwood. I actually like how the song goes, but I just can't get over the name...

EuphToth
Region 18 Symphonic band played "Gum-Suckers March" by Grainger. Also, our director was thinking about playing it in concert band. One time's enough for me.
BlinK Day 41
Squibcakes or Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. both are Tower of Power songs and my drumlines doing it for their show this year
Nancy08
We almost played a song called "Commando March"... I have trouble naming the stuff I write. When I do pick out a name, it's something like "The Cowardly Prince, the Fiery Dragon, and the Beautiful Princess" or something weird and long that makes no sense. itsstephenyo
Puff the Magic Dragon... lived by the sea... He wallowed in the autumn mist In a land called Honnalee! I learned the song in fourth grade, and its absurdity has stuck with me ever since. Plus, it's funny picking out the innuendos.

What was your song for Erin and Jenni called? Didn't it have a kinda funny name? Oh, and "Tie Your Mother Down", I think by Queen, is a little creepy... Keyboard_Countessa
I remember once in concert band we sightread a piece called Polovestian Dances, which had rather odd titles for the different movements, such as "Dance of the Slave-Girls" and "Dance of the Men and the Little Boys". Nancy08
What was your song for Erin and Jenni called? Didn't it have a kinda funny name? Modulation. Very ironic, cause they just picked the first big word they saw. At that time, I was having trouble modulating smoothly from G minor to Bb minor.
