I would second this. I think Granbury will be second, and then the next few placements are kind of a toss-up

i could see kaufman or o'connor in a fight with granbury for 2nd, but i can also see granbury getting 2nd!

The fact that programs like Hebron, flower mound, marcus and forney come here is unsettling considering that they will obviously sweep up the podiums. I wonder how the smaller schools compete against this

Does world class not have their own class division and competition within themselves?

World Class has their own competition. Its just Hebron, Flomo, Marcus, Forney, Burleson Centennial, and TC in the morning. I, II, and IV are in that same afternoon different comp, and III and V are the next day

Ohhhh okay this makes more logical sense, I am not fully versed in USBands, Thank you for the clarification!!

Former head band director at L.D. Bell HS is the Associate Director at Guyer now.  This could be very accurate.

That's stunning! And I definitely wasn't expecting it to be Jeremy Earnhart!! I don't know of any director -- of that caliber or otherwise -- who has moved up to fine arts director and then back down to being a high school director.

Never posted my predictions, oops.

1. Birdville HS - IV

2. Sandra Day O’Connor HS - IV

3. Granbury HS - IV

5. Mount Pleasant HS - IV

7. Lewisville HS - IV

World Class Predictions:

1. Flower Mound

2. Hebron

3. Marcus

4. Burleson Centennial

5. Forney

6. The Colony

Assuming FM continues the winning streak, however I still think Hebron is still incredibly close in a UIL/USBands format.

Is usbands more aligned with UIL judging?

Actually I take that back a bit, USBands judging is definitely kinda like BOA-lite, were effect is an actual caption. Judging has both a music and visual effect, rather than a "general effect" category, which is why I said that. FM should win this.

Does anyone know when results are being announced?

I’m sure they already have been, just hard to have anyone report on this with this being on a Tuesday night… I’m sure they’ll be posted at some point soon.

does usbands have a score sheet similar to those from area/state?

It’s more like boa, but it’s really its own things and doesn’t really compare will to boa tbh…

His daughter is about to graduate and I suspect may be attending a VERY good music school not far from Guyer HS.
