Yeah, no clue how this will go. North Forney had a great day yesterday, Heath is also on a roll so they could be higher, but I'm guessing at least these will be close to our 12 finalist...maybe. Super excited to see how this one plays out

just saw it a few minutes ago. Think they will do very well here, need to clean up a couple things in the brass but visually they are very strong already, but it seems a lot of other programs are very good sooner than they normally are

Nope I was in the band lol. I'm the drum major and soloist on the right

Ahhhh, yes. Then you know me indirectly muhahaha. Considering we had to almost bust your door down to get you to the band trip one year. 😂

Yesterday’s results changed my entire rankings but my top three is probably Wylie Rockwall Reedy. I expect the likes of Pearce and some others to strike back though, should be a very interesting comp.

btw.. RHHS has 40ish pages to add, and looks to seem like its going to be one of rockhills best closers to date if executed well.

realistically could celina/indy place higher? i have yet to see celinas full show but from what i saw it was pretty good, and indy has another part to show. no idea if it can beat reedy or other bands though (prbaly not wylie or rockwall)

At this point I don’t even have Celina in. I think there are 12 bands here better than them. As far as independence, I’ve got them in 7th which imo is probably their ceiling and I’d say probably 10th is the lowest I could see them but if they have another strong weekend they should do very well

Wylie’s guard is extremely strong in both design & execution. I see them taking the caption at this contest.

crazy to think reedy went from a non area finalist to a possibility for mckinney podium

ive heard wylie is doing well this year with reedy's old director, their show theme looks awesome

These are my locked in predictions, I think reedy and LT will be a great match up but I dont doubt that Rockwall could be in-between or beat both, so my 2-4 are a bit unsure but only time will tell...

Well the post said McKinney was just an additional run though imo, they’d be one of the bands fighting for the last spot or two, this comp is unironically deeper then Mellisa in terms of bands go with finals potential

Heritage had pretty much their whole show on this past weekend; seemed like they were just missing a few sets at the end. I believe Emerson did too.

Yeah, Emerson's guard is incredible. Some really strong drumlines. Allen, Colleyville, Argyle, Braswell, Wylie, LT, looks like Plano East is pretty great this year. Frisco Heritage won drums here two years ago and only missed winning it again last year by a point.
