Also a little something to add to that. At least 7 of the bands competing here (not including the McKinney schools) are attending BOA Prosper the following week. So this could be a little watch for trends, at least for music and visual.

This feels pretty good. I think Wylie wins, Pearce silver medals and Rock Hill takes bronze. As I mentioned in the BOA Prosper thread, def. expect a bounce back from Rock Hill. Argyle seems to keep getting stronger so I give them the edge over Rockwall. I agree with the finalists, could see Reedy a spot or two higher ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Yeah I lowkey have no idea how it’s going to turn out with how strong so many of the programs were last season.

Something tells me Argyle will get 2nd, they get better every year. Grapevine will definitely make finals here too and i have them over Lebanon. Colleyville also is unpredictable in these competitions, either they will be lower in finals or be higher, considering the momentum from last year they can break top 5.

Yeah I could see Argyle as well. Grapevine is still iffy for me bc while they’ve had a couple great seasons I feel like they could fall off, not hoping they do but maybe and it’s their first comp, but I do think Lebanon is still the stronger program by a good amount. I could also see it going like this:

1. Wylie 

2. Argyle 

3. Rockhill/Pearce 

4. Pearce/Rockhill/Rockwall 

5. Rockhill/Rockwall 

6. Colleyville 

7. Lebanon 

8. Plano East

The two "Rock" schools is gonna be a battle. Rock Hill is growing like crazy and Ive heard good things about their program this year. However I'm most interested in seeing Emerson this year and I am excited to see what they choose to adapt to their show this year and how they may grow. This one will be a good one can't wait to see the results!

Love these predictions. From what i've heard from some people about Emerson is that it's looking like they're shaping up really well.

I mentioned this in the BOA prosper thread but rock Hill has even a chance of taking 1st at this comp... parent preview shaping up to be very good.. I am excited for the choreo they add after that.....

I think the biggest pushers for first are Wylie, both Rocks, and maybe Pearce and Argyle. So yeah, wouldn’t be shocked for RockHill to take the W here.

Definitely agree. Wylie and Rockhill are going to be battling for top 2 but Pearce shouldn't be underestimated especially since they won last year.

I’m definitely not counting them out. They got a real chance for first. I just see it being more of a battle between Hill and Wylie. I think my prediction will be Pearce getting bronze.
