It’ll be really interesting to see the chance of this area sending 5 bands to state next year with the realignment.. while currently sitting at 22 bands with panther creek and prosper Richland most likely coming up, that makes 24 meaning we just need one more… should help programs a lot

I think Celina will also be moving up from what I've heard...could be wrong but if so we'd be at 25 assuming all 1's so yeah we'd have 5 to state which would be sooooo nice

Frisco Emerson is a good band, and I have yet to see their show, but I think they will be in the top 10, not sure about state, as I haven't seen their show yet.

lol, I’ve seen their show. I still think they have a good shot at finals but that early performance time means it’s gonna have to be an insane run with how deep this area is. Would love to see them in though

I agree with them having an early time... but I still  think they have a good chance of making finals..... considering all the Frisco schools are great I still think their GE/ Visual are great.... their movement is good they cleaned up quite a bit of it.... I do go to the football games to watch the bands and have seen their improvement... as much as we all would like to think that performance times to don't make  a difference they do.... being in band we all knew that they do..... If they manage to put in a great clean run they'll be in finals......

Early run time can make a one spot difference but (hopefully) shouldn’t be a major difference. I think either Liberty or Emerson will preform very well, and the other will suffer. 

With Mckinney North leaving and Celina joining (with possibly Richland and Panther Creek) I think it will get close and wish to see 25 bands but is there anyone else that could join? Even so, Reedy may leave and Memorial may drop down

with liberty being the first band to go so early on a cold morning, i dont know how well they will be able to compete against these other ensembles who have such a favorable time... their visual is a strong suit of theirs, hopefully it can carry them into finals

yeah they don't have the best slot time, but if they can pull a good performance, they can make finals. But same thing for Emerson, Melissa, Frisco etc.
