Anyone going to see the entire frisco showcase?

I just saw Wakeland's show and holy moly they want the smoke with this area. The music is very cool and aggressive as exepected. Visual and music fits the theme really well. I can truly see this winning area and medaling at state.

Emerson is going to be a dark horse in my opinion..... and heritage was good they could really have a chance to finish high...

I really liked Reedy they sounded really good kinda reminded me of LS with last years performance.

The band that surprised me the most tonight was Independence. They sounded so loud and full! Major improvements from last year and a fun show to watch from the audience standpoint.

lebanon trail's show concept really wowed me. i think they have a ton of potential, but theyre still classic early season LT, meaning that theyre good but not amazing compared to the competition at this point in the season, and will probably be relying on a huge cleaning push as area approaches to climb the rankings.

that being said, i thought their volume was a bit better than last year, which was my main gripe with them, and i really loved the music writing. so i think all of that being said, theyre in a much better place than last year for that state push and id predict them making it, especially if they have that urge to make up for missing it last year.

lone star and wakeland were both incredible, really liked what i heard from reedy and independence as well

wakeland looked great last night, just some individual marching issues. But i’m sure they’ll clean real fast.

I’ve seen Reedy & Emerson so far from last night. Reedy has not let down one bit, and I’m so excited to see them at boa in a couple weeks. Just really strong levels of musicianship and execution, and while the visual package isn’t anything crazy, it’s being executed fairly well and there are some cool moments, love the show design. 

For Emerson, I really enjoy the expression of the theme. I’m not a huge fan of the closer, but again being performed very well. lots of visuals that go well with the soloists, and musically very strong.

I have also seen LS & Wakeland from like 2 weeks ago, and both groups are ofc very strong

I got there late and missed most of the bands but I was blown away by Lebanon Trail! It was pretty dirty at times (I know it’s early in the season) but they have a cool concept. If they can polish the heck out of that show, I think they can move up. After watching the second half of the showcase last night, I think Panther Creek is going to struggle when they move up to 5A.

Yeah I loved y’all’s show! I think it fits the theme very well and y’all are very clean for this part of the season, can’t wait to see how yall do this weekend!
