I imagine Boyd dropped on some music captions, not their best run musically but pretty alright visually, overall ok.

If Reedy has a clean sound I imagine they possibly swept, Sachses run tonight was stronger so itll be interesting to see it play out

Not saying any band should be lower or higher, but just seems weird to have 1 band swap with another band while Sachse and Boyd stay in the middle of the 2,if your gonna have lake highlands or independence over Boyd and sachse cool,but don’t see how that swap makes since

Congrats to reedy coming into this comp. as an underdog. I loved their hits, lots of improvement from showcase with more animated choreo

Reedy is LOCKED IN this year; seriously rooting for them to make state. Boyd’s got the right stuff too, unbelievable ensemble playing ability. Sachse had a much stronger run tonight. With a little cleaning and fine-tuning, they should be set to make it back to state.

Independence was a very pleasant surprise, to say the least. Lake Highlands was great as well; them being above Pearce was a little shocking, though.

Man, Birdville, Plano Senior, and Lovejoy all had walls of sound! Very entertaining!

This is the best Naaman has sounded in years! They are a real contender for area finals. North Garland is on the right track as well.

Only thing I know for specifics is that finals was close

Reedy: 13 ordinal points
Independence: 14 ordinal points
McKinney Boyd: 15 ordinal points

suprised by lake highlands jump from above boyd/ sachse to below. i feel like lh has much stronger visual than musical, with their choreo/ foot timing being pretty much clean. but hits being less impactful, especially hearing it right after boyd and before reedy. it’s noticable that boyd and reedy have a much more present sound. i think jjpearce has the opposite of lake highlands with a much stronger musical than visual. some of their choreo is not clean yet but their musical moments/ hits are powerful and clean for the most part! i absolutely loved reedys show congratulations for taking the win.

Just a shout but birdvilles ballad hit had me with chills down my spine, honestly pretty solid of a show I’ve never seen them this good/clean early season! Props to the kids and staff for putting together an amazing show!

What a win for Reedy man. They are coming in this year guns blazing. Also great job from independence as well. Taking over bands like Sachse and McKinney Boyd ain’t easy so well done to them. Frisco bands are just really good I guess.
