Indeed, it's been great to see the support.

To answer your question, yes Glenn as well as every other LISD marching band, is going to BOA-SA this year.

I think they'd probably need to rent several box trucks for the front ensemble, electricals and electronics, tubas, and large battery percussion. Students can carry all the smaller winds and their uniforms on the buses if necessary.  Heck that's what we used to do back in the day, only tubas and general equipment went on our (much smaller) trailer.  Everybody else took their wind instruments and uniforms with them.

The Texas State Bobcat Band loaned them their trailer!

PS Vandy uniforms generally go on the bus with the kids.

Listen

Holy cow, just got home from SA and immediately had to check what folks were saying. This made me LOL.  Literally, I chuckled.

Tough way to start, I think the kids held on and put it back together in the second half, fingers crossed for a good result. :)

[Predictions] Block #3 Top 3 (Panel 1)

1. Moe & Gene Johnson

2. CTJ

3. Winston Churchill

Few in this block I could see as third...I don't think Round Rock had their best run, so I give WC the edge as of now (actually really enjoyed this show). I think M&G has a great show for this contest, and ATP still see them as a finalist since I think their brass had a better run then state prelims.

Friendly rivals 🙃

My Vandy band kid often talks about how well the two bands get along and how they cheer for each other.

They’re genuinely happy to see the other do well.

Oh Im sure, I watched the Hebron kids sprint to Flower Mound after they won state!!!

[Predictions] Block #4 Top 3 (Panel 2)

1. Vandegrift

2. Vista Ridge

3. Ronald Reagan

I think for this block #4, Im going to say Vista takes music…They have such a powerful sound while staying balanced. Vandegrift did great, no other words there. Really enjoy how much Reagans show conveys, even without props. The gap between these three I feel is small, but I still see it like this for now. Lake Travis was also producing some great sound, plus cool show theme. Lots of good bands in this block!

Do you have any predictions for the top in each panel for the whole day. Not just by block? Like maybe a top 5 panel.
