INDIANAPOLIS - Bands of America and the Music for All Foundation today announce the merger of the two groups to create Music for All, Inc., one of the largest and most influential national music education organizations in support of active music making. The merger became effective September 14, 2006.

No, BOA is still a seperate division of MFA and so it will keep it's name. So, we will still have BOA GN.

Don't worry....no name changes.

 

The names of Bands of America events, like the Bands of America Regional and Grand National Championships, will not change. Bands of America events are still Bands of America events, ditto Orchestra America events. Bands of America and Orchestra America programs and events continue as planned, as part of Music for All, Inc.

Man, if BOA keeps up this expanding and merging, they'll have a monopoly on all Fine Arts in the country by 2050. Scott McCormick could become a very rich guy!

 

Just imagine if they merged with UIL...
