The director believes we will be starting up again sometime around 5:00 pm. However, I just overheard a director conversation about Monday and Tuesday. I thought it might be a prelims only contest. So we don’t know yet. 
 

Hags CSHS TpT I know woods and e-mail are in the same room. At least two bands are in concessions areas. Probably Fair and the band after them.

Cy ranch is prob with cy fair since they perform right after them and just a curiosity what band are you in?

I’m a parent chaperone with Woods today. I’m also a band director, but I’m at a private school right now. 
 

I do think it’s Ranch and Fair in concessions. I can’t figure out who is with us in the room as I don’t recognize their uniforms.

It appears that there has been some talk between judges and directors. They plan appeared to be initially to make it for prelims only. It appears say disgusted and have a plan in action to make it so there is a finals.

Elsik 5:50

Katy 6:05

JET 6:20

Bridgeland 6:35

Cypress Springs 6:50

Paetow 7:05

 

Per Danpod, they are attempting to get finals in.

 

Rain chances drop off a cliff after 8pm from the sources I look at, so I hope we can make it there without further delay

Woods stopped 2/3 of the way through due to lightning.

CyWoods just got stopped in the middle of their show for another lightning delay. There's no way they could get finals in now, right? Each delay is pretty long.

Due to uil rules they will be allowed a rerun. They stopped at 4:30.

Per the schedule, it’ll take about 1.5 hrs to finish the remaining schools + warmup time. We will see…

No we were not with ranch they were on the other side

Everything just feels so chaotic there has  got to be some better way this could have been handled.

Also wouldn’t the bands in the first “block” that were unaffected by the rain have an advantage?

Woods just finished and the field is fine. Wet but okay. Off and on sprinkles.
