Im assuming you're basing that off of battle at the berry, a lot of the results were weird at that comp so I try not to use that as a major point of reference I see what you mean tho, but imo my biggest take in my predictions is having tompkins barely making finals

Yeah thats true I was basing katy making finals off on the battle at the berry but I respect your opinion with having tompkins barely making it

I agree berry was a little weird with judging but so was Katy marching fest that was some of the worst judging I've seen in awhile. even if it was a bad run I don't think Katy needed to be that low I'm confident that Katy will make finals tho and will mess with a lot of y'all's predictions.

Tbh man its been very shaky with our band after battle at the berry since we've gotten such a good place overall everyone has not been taking rehearsals seriously and thinks that everything is gonna be good which has been causing a lot of stress for the directros and many upperclassmen that the freshmen aren't taking anything seriously. But overall its gonna be very close for us maybe 11th-13th because we know we can be Paetow for sure but Jersey Village and Langham are our biggest obstacles and if we beat them then it's just Ranch that stands in our way on making finals I think.

yeah that's always the toughest thing is when the underclassmen don't want to put in effort to be great, for me its my senior year and I'd like for our band to be good and all upperclassmen give their all. but some don't see it that way but its more of a thing for the underclassmen to be accountable for themselves at first it was rough but after lots of times upperclassmen talking  to freshmen to take everything seriously. we got it through their heads .

Its mainly the woodwinds for there lack of effort during rehersals but majority of the brass frehsmen are really taking this seriously so we just gotta push through these last rehersal before saturday but I think we will just be fine and again hopfully make finals. (It would be a first in the entire bands history)

Can you contact BOA? Been tryna get a hold of him but he’s not responding, USBands tried earlier but they didn’t get back to them either, might need to ask cypress showcase and battle at the berry

I just feel like Cy ranch's show won't do as well in a uil setting as Langham Creeks, tompkins may be wrong but really the bottom 5 are all pretty close plus I feel like tompkins has pretty much stayed the same in quality compared to last year which just isn't going to be enough in this area, it's definitely possible for them to still do very well but it's just hard to see them doing too well in the top 10 considering the vast improvement of the other bands in this area 

(I definitely respect your opinion and see what you mean tho)
