After Saturday this area is looking quite competitive 👀 The judges will not have it easy at all.

I feel like this Area is going to get even more competitive as time goes on leading up to here but we’ll see

After seeing Foster pull from 11 to 7 place in Shenandoah, and Fulshear missing finals by just a hair in a strong competitive field, I predict that both schools will definitely make a strong statement in UIL Area E.  Here’s to all eligible bands scoring ones at their Regional competitions, because we’re going to want all six possible slots to the SMBC.

Me personally would wait a bit to predict this area, keep in mind bands have until November 2nd, that's a pretty good chunk of time till then to clean

4 1/2 weeks is definitely a lot. A lot of bands don't have their full shows out and definitely there is much cleaning and changes to be done. Does anyone know why area is a full week later this year?

Since every class has state every year, UIL flip flops the even and odd year classes back and forth to be fair for everyone.

If yall want we could provide power rankings every week to keep track of the changing of the top 12, since that's technically possible to have 12 finalists

That sounds like fun 😄

Alr here are my power rankings for week (September 28th) Based on results, and performances found online.

1: Pearland

2: Stephen F Austin

3: Clear Brook

4: Foster

5: Dickinson

6: Dawson

7: Fulshear

8: Clear Lake

9: Clear Falls

10: Shadow Creek

11: Pasadena Memorial

12: Brazoswood

First 2 out George Ranch, and Clements.

If you have any comments so I can edit this would love to hear them, ik it's a bit controversial but it's just for the week of September 28th going off mostly scores that I know aren't accurate to UIL at all.

Yeah this is definitely going to change even after next week. You just don’t know what to expect with results from any Houston competition, and ig that’s what makes it kind of fun in a way 🤷🏼‍♀️

Looks like there's gonna be a whopping 12 bands from this area going to BOA Webster, 6 of which have made it to state last year(6A & 5A). It'll be interesting to see how many bands from this area will make finals and if any will medal. My prediction is that that placements will be way different than what happened at BOA Shenandoah. I think this competition will show us which bands are fighting tooth and nail for a chance at state. Can't wait to see how this weekend turns out!

- Brazoswood
- Shadow Creek
- Clear Brook (6A state)
- Pearland (6A state finals)
- Foster (5A state)
- Churchill Fulshear (5A state)

- Ridge Point
- George Ranch
- Clear Springs
- Dickinson (6A state)
- Clear Lake
- Dawson (6A state)

Here's Dawson at BOA Shenandoah. This is just my opinion, but idk how they didn't place higher with the show that they have. Definitely an amazing show with difficult drill and music.

And here's our first look at Dickinson. Wish the camera was turned more to the right but oh well.

I'm sure they'll climb, most bands with difficult music and drill, just need to clean clean clean!
