Nice list, but how come clear brook below foster and clements? I could see any of those 3(clements,foster, and clear brook) rotrating from 4-6 though.

Yeah I had this same thought. They’ve only been upwards since Covid, and haven’t missed state since. So unless they have a weird start, which they did in 22 not making finals at Katy and still made state, I so no reason for them to not me in the conversation for the last two spots.

Remember though, finals is a top half/bottom half draw, So, if Foster places into the top 5 in prelims (not impossible) then they’ll go on 6th in Finals.

Yeah I know about the finals draw thingy but I highly doubt that we’re making top half because of how early we perform but idk we’ll see 🤷🏼‍♀️

 

wait a minute- if finals is a top half/bottom half draw and we made second in prelims last year, how come we performed first in finals last year? Just a question- I don’t really get it sorry

The Top/Bottom draw for area is starting to take effect in 2024. UIL marching band committee just approved it this past winter.

Hello everyone! I think it's about that time of the season where our bands will finally finish their shows! At least drill wise obviously. If yall wanna start sharing the bands in this area of any caliber I think now would be the perfect starting point to see the progress throughout the season for these bands! 😀

I’ve got a couple clips, not sure what they’re from but they’re pretty old. It sounds amazing so far though! Def can’t wait to see them at finals retreat for area. Especially since it’s their first year in 6A, it will be nice to see a new face.
