Klein oak was lovely! Was very impressed by Freeman as well. For a first year program it was very encouraging to see how many parent volunteers they had and the student buy in was incredible. They’ll be one to watch in the next 5 years!

WOW... Clear brook was awesome! Love the features, unis, and selection. Def the strongest performance so far in the competition!

Northshore! Amazing ballad! Mello rips and the brass line are out of this world. This band has come out of nowhere in recent years. Incredible performance to finish off the first block!

Very nice college station, that program has improved quite a bit, really mature horn sounds coming from the Mellos, beautiful. Great performance! Give it a few years and I think they’ll be a strong program to look out for.

I mostly agree with these rankings. I'd have North Shore above clear brook but I worry their mic and electronics issue + maybe timing delay (they started 4 mins late) may hold them back behind. I also had Cinco above Klein Oak. I wasn't sold on the very beginning and very end of Cinco's show but the middle was stunning.

I agree--they had a much better run here this year than last year. I think they'll get two runs today.

I’ve seen that before but it just…”WOW” wow factor to be honest. That hit just always catches me off guard.

Tompkins wowed me! I much prefer their show concept to last year's 

TWHS is still not my favorite... don't crucify me! I am just not impressed compared to how they usually look/sound at this point in the year. That and design doesn't resonate with me.. They're still performing well enough to win though I bet

Nothing less expected from the Woodlands. Jaw-dropping performance and a spicy ballad. Great for them, expecting another sweep this year...

I’m with you on that, don’t get me wrong great performance, but it’s really as impressive as usual? Interested on cy-fairs show.

I agree! I also still believe that they're projected to win the entire thing, but I wouldn't be surprised if another band takes one of the captions 👀 who knows, maybe Cy-Fair could give them a run for their money..

Elkins high solid job, some really good improvement in that program from last year, hope to see them in Area E finals!

Wow Dawson... that should earn a late performance time this evening! Way to go! After seeing TWHS, I think music for 4A prelims may still be up for grabs if Cy-Fair comes out swinging, but I bet TWHS pulls off a complete sweep this evening.
