What's going on for y'all?

Just as everyone has said... If you listen to our show, you can even hear the 2 BASSCLARINETS PLAYING. It doesn't matter if you can't hear them, but if they weren't playing.. You could totally hear the color change. It's funny how music works that way. Never do I want to hear a person dis a woodwind again, especially in a wood wind furom. Sheesh

It's a good thing I dont' know any of these songs. *glees* How about that Laffy Taffy song? hahaha

My mom wanted to go take me to go see it for a birthday.

If it's any other school program, it would have to be the Dragonettes, our Dance team, who always support us.

Hmm, Our football team loves it when we play Shout it Out.. I love to play it up 2 octaves.

For homecoming, we get told the King at our pep-rally, and only the runner ups for homecoming queen are at the ceremony during the game and then.. They tell us the queen. Heh, It's pretty simple for us. I like just standing there in parade rest.

I mean ours have a huge ego too, but still they suck. When they played "What I Like About You"...They kept cracking pitches. It was so embarrasing.

*glees* We don't have a homecoming song. We just sit there and look pretty.

1? Wow, that's not a lot. I think we have umm, about 10 too..But girls and guys sort of balance out.

Ah, I am just happy my fridays are free.

Okay, Round Rock got 4th then.

So I heard that Round Rock got 5th and Leander got 7th. Wo0t!!

yeah, that always sucks. They give clarinets the smallest lockers possible..and I see that some clarinets have baritone lockers... Jeese.

I have a huge problem with this, sometimes I spend all night contemplating about it. It took us a week before to grab a hold of everyone and get their work ethic up. If we were to start earlier with our work ethic..Especially at the Summer Camps, our show would be so awesome, but no one cares. When we found out we got 2nd at Westlake is when the entire attitude changed. The entire time we were silent and then that Monday for UIL Band Practice. It was a really cold day, rainy too..and so that was already a given that our focus wasn't good.. So after the warm-up.. Mr. Stein(bd) was like, "Okay guys, Go ahead and warm yourself up and play long tones.." As soon as he said that, some kid started playing the show.. Ehem, Lowbrass kid, if I may add. lol Mr. Stein started ranting on how why we are so focused at comp., but yet we still have one more left and you don't have focus on the only day we can rehearse. It's like we got some Scitzofrenic(sp?) band. It was rather funny, again disapointing. I feel sorry for the ones who REALLY do work hard.

I would have to say Akins HS, for our district at least. They are really a supportive band to other bands. They really impressed me with their spirit.

That sucks. I rarely take my instrument home because I walk to school although I do know I own a clarinet; it is still a pain to take a clarinet wherever I go..Sheesh, I may love her, but it doesn't mean I have to be with her all the time. Okay, maybe it does. Nuff said. Well, finally my Fridays are free!! We lost to HAYS!!
