Playing Buegler's holiday in a trio. I am not sure what I am playing for a solo yet. I played a piece last year called Concerto in F by Oskar Bohme. You dont have to memorize to go to state it if you play the 1st or 3rd movement (I played the 3rd)

5th in the region on a crappy performance. Woot! To Area I go! Hopefully I will have a better audition. How did everyone else do?

A graduate from Midland High School was a lead soprano for blue devils in '97.

I know Allen is big and clumsy, but man their sound is massive, I love it.

We have already had Honor Band tryouts this year. The auditions are not blind, and anyone who wants to make honor band MUST try out. I personally got 2nd chair behind my rival, but I think it was because of politics (hes band captain). I will just have to whoop up on him in the All Region room.

Assistant Band Director - 5 years in the Phantom Regiment, I forget which years. We also have a 2 year Phantom Regiment member at one of the junior highs.

Well our 1st trumpets are flatout incredible...our second trumpets are probably 4 at best.

Our team just lost to Plano also (Midland High). Man, their crowd was totally in to what was going on though, was fun to watch really.

Now that I think about it, with such strong performances from Marcus and Martin this year, I bet they may penetrate the top 10 as well, as well as Coppell.
