  1. Not much to do here until realignment... or April/May... or July... so I'll just put some of my favorite shows from this area from this past 2025 season A&M Consolidated - "Patterns in My Mind" Kempner - "Unlocked" Lamar Consolidated - "Timeless" Randle - "Auroric Dances" Porter - "Spindletop: A Portrait in Oil" Galena Park - "Enjoy The Silence" (? i may be misremembering this show name) West Fork - "Ad Astra" Splendora - "Splendorous" Baytown Lee - "Fantastic Voyage" Kingwood Park - "Oh! The Places You'll Go!" Spring Woods - "A Day in the Factory"
  2. Hoping that 5A E gets changed in some way so there won't be 45 bands in the area... πŸ˜₯ not guaranteed that every band will make it to area but there would still be close to 30 making it with new bands moving in from both 4A and 6A
  3. i'm going to go with 1. Lebanon Trail or Lone Star, LT peaked this year after missing state last year and they are definitely on the rise plus LS is probably going to want revenge after placing 8th in finals. If not a Frisco school, then Argyle 2. Argyle. The show design for this year was questionable but they have a chance for top 3 next year. If not Argyle then LS 2nd and Argyle for 3rd 3. Burleson Centennial: consistent finalist band for the past two years and since most of the finalist bands are moving to 6A they have a BIG chance of making top 5 4. Richland/McCallum: these two were 2 points away from each other in finals, I consider this a tossup 5. Poteet: tied with McCallum and unfortunately lost the tie but they are definitely finals material i'm starting to run out of commentary lol so i'll just list the rest 6. Friendswood 7. Lake Belton/Barbers Hill 8. Hendrickson 9. A&M Consolidated 10. Harlingen South 11. Roma 12. Midlothian i'm relatively new to the state marching contest so if these are inaccurate, i deeply apologize 😭
  4. I don't know much about them but I'm sure consistently missing state by 1 to 2 spots since moving into 6A HAS to be driving Jordan crazy!! They'll be sure to make it within the next couple of years, they'll just have to keep going on the upward path that they are
  5. This area doesn't seem to be fond to those not named Pearland... (I'm joking, but seriously what happened??? Those judges ran Foster over)
  6. welcome to 5A! your predictions look solid, I haven't seen anything from Dulles but if you guys are anything like Kempner y'all have a very good chance of succeeding in this area! I find it very likely that y'all and New Caney make finals
  7. i'm sure they'll find this area very relieving after being in areas with Pearland and The Woodlands LOL i feel there aren't too many bands in this area to worry about for those two (other than for NC since the other 2 NCISD schools also have very strong programs like theirs)
  8. back again for the new year ! making early predictions (because i wouldn't be a txbands user if i didn't) these are truly just this past year's results pushed up (with a pinch of my own opinion) with the removal of both CS schools in the event they remove them to move them to Area D, and Barbers Hill since they are now in 6A: 1. Friendswood (no surprise here) 2. Brenham 3. La Porte 4. Kempner 5. Porter 6. Port Neches Groves 7. Randle 8. Galena Park 9. Lamar Consolidated 10. Angleton 11. Baytown Sterling 12. West Fork
  9. this area doesn't change too much... losing FB Dulles, South Houston, and Goose Creek Memorial which were bound to happen and gaining Barbers Hill (also bound to happen)
  10. Would this mean the new areas would have 4-5 state qualifiers for each? Also, I think Region 8 would move back too. would save them about 5 miles traveling to Pflugerville than Channelview πŸ˜…
  11. With barbers hill moving up to 6A and a very slight possibility of both CS schools moving back to Area D, there is a possibility of Kempner and Porter returning to State as well as a band like PNG returning after 20+ years
  12. so then that means 45... πŸ’€
  13. so it’ll only be barbers hill moving up… WB and Pasadena having missed by 5 and LP and Angleton by basically 10, Sterling by 13
  14. not 4A, but schools like New Braunfels dropping from 2179 to 1409 in 2 years, as well as Homer Hanna going from 2300 to 1800...
