  1. I’m bias, let me have my moment. I have them and Troopers as my DCI dark horses
  2. Hear me out, but the Cavs show this year is gonna be a real Dark Horse. Mark my words when I say they will do numbers this year
  3. Pretty good take on things. I think the most underrated out of all these bands is Lake Highlands. I feel like Lake Highlands is on the rise and could definitely make a statement for themselves next year. 1. Wax 2. Sachse 3. Forney 4. Rockwall 5. Berkner 6. D-Ville 7. LH 8. JJ Pearce 9. Rockwall Heath 10. Royce City I think my question comes around where Duncanville will fall. I’m not saying I don’t have faith in the new director, far from it. I just think other bands will take it to heart. Also I really think Royce City could make it to finals next year. They weren’t far off last year. Also I’ve heard about their show theme and it seems really cool.
  4. Seems a little quiet over here now. Anyone got predictions after….whatever happened these two months?
  5. Eh why not take a crack. 1. Flower Mound (Little bit of a hot take) 2. Hebron 3. Marcus 4. Prosper/Braswell (Could come down to some sort of tie breaker) 5. Braswell/Prosper 6. McKinney 7. Wylie East 8. Wylie 9. McKinney Boyd 10. RockHill
  6. I saw a video of Waxahachie’s show being called Perplex, can anyone confirm this?
  7. Wylie East is attending per their band calendar
  8. Added some more bands to the list. Also does anyone know if Hebron will return to this comp? They usually do come, but I don’t got any information on them yet.
  9. Actually, I have a few Dark Horses for the year: McKinney, SLC, Braswell, Rockwall, and Aledo (edit, I forgot to mention Cy-Fair) I feel like these are some of the bands that have been overlooked a lot, but I think they have a great shot at going far this year.
  10. Whitesboro also confirmed for this competition
  11. Typically UIL doesn’t do Box5. That’s really more of a BOA thing to do
  12. Ah, makes more sense
  13. So you’re telling me….that Berkner and JJ Pearces’s directors just swapped?
  14. Oh snap! What a great pick up for Memorial
  15. Interesting they do this contest instead of Donna Hanna. I think they can sneak into finals with this.
  16. Good for them. I think they’re trying to dip their toes more into BOA. First Waco and now they’ll do this one, can’t wait to see them.
  17. Thought I’d make a quick prediction because I’m bored so here’s my prediction as of 06/08 1. Hebron 2. Wakeland 3. Prosper 4. Coppell 5. Timber Creek 6. SLC 7. Keller 8. Wax 9. Sachse 10. KC 11. Berkner 12. Azle For me the most switchable one I have is SLC and TC. They could definitely switch around a lot.
  18. Thanks…if I’m gonna be dead honest I forgot I made this so thanks for the update.
  19. It’s one of those things where all of these bands are deserving of going to state but they have a low chance because of the 3 kings at the top
  20. I feel dumb for asking, but who’s all in region 25? Also is there a way to find the region maps?
  21. My things is with Berkner, if they do move down to 5A and go to Area C I could see that making Berkner a contender to win Area C 5A, with it being a battle between them, NM, and maybe Poteet. Along with that, since Berkner was a 6A Area C finalist last year that would leave a gap for another band to sneak into 6A finals.
