Great run from Leander, easy finals lock in my opinion. Couldn’t hear the soloists very well because of Box5 microphones, but wonderful performance! Also does anyone how many pairs of sunglasses does each kid have? Just wondering.

Cedar Park is definitely Texas LOUD! What a run from you guys, amazing execution. I think top 5 could get cracked, because this show is VERY clean. Plus the balance of this group is incredible! I think the “new” closer was a good change.

Good run from Carmel! As I see it, thats bronze for me. Full Bartok show is risky, but good execution!

I *think* OFT should still be fine. I have them over AF with their semi’s performance still. But then again I don't know the minor details of how they go about scoring that.

Agreed but that seems to be a general theme. High brass inanition in Grand Nats seems to be an afterthought (maybe its just the mics?!?!)

Broken Arrow has such an incredible and LOUD sound. I see them taking the music caption. I like the use of props in this show, it feels very intentional. In terms of “look”, I love the look of this group. Soloists and featured small ensembles are all super talented. IMO will give Carmel a run for their money.

Yeah I don’t see them taking music, but again gotta see other bands perform first. But GE and Vis is a lock most likely IMO. I didn’t notice how big that battery was in prelims, but that one block formation made it VERY clear how big.

Love the uniforms from Avon!!! RCM is such a nice musical selection for this marching show. You can definitely tell Matt Harloff directs this group, what incredible sounds. Also, this battery is HUGE. I see no cracks that would risk defending gold, minus a few intonation moments.

Catawba Ridge! I have not heard the March from Hindemith in a while, but I know putting that on the field must be a challenge. This show was beautiful, and I think the white backdrop to purple was a good design choice. Visually stunning. Use of soloists in this show was super tasteful.

Mentioned yesterday, but love the Gabriels Oboe in Bartletts show. Musical selections all around in this show work super well.

General Effect in Tarpon Springs show is insane. One of my favorite shows in semis.

Prosper did good, all of these bubble bands are getting semi spots right next to each other so it will be hard to judge, but probably as good of a run from them as I have seen in the past month.

Singer in American Forks show has such a nice voice. Love that some bands are including strings a bit. Trombone soloists sounds really good!!!

Really love O’Fallon Townships show. Visual design is stunning, and they use the field so well. Props are dope, and putting extra uniforms on the mannequins is a cool touch.

Goodluck to all the Texas Bands tomorrow! Since I would like to see Argyle again, it looks like I will be trying to go to bed early.

Not Texas related, but just realized Mustang didn't advance because of how they did the paneling. Dang. Wanted to see that show again.

Love the music in Bartletts show. I don’t remember if I have ever heard Gabriels Oboe arranged for marching band, but I loved that ballad.
