Regarding Cy Falls: I have a family friend there. Covid really affected them negatively. Most students were online for a long time and the program has suffered because of it. IMO there are some other internal issues, but I can't really speak to those as I am not a parent there. Bridgeland, Cy Fair and Cy Woods had most students attending during the pandemic. In fact, Cy Woods getting such a high placement at state in 2020 seemed to be the beginning their success in the area.
