I wouldn’t DOUBT seven lakes sneaking up on Bridgeland, also, if Cy-Springs were to make area finals, I wouldn’t hate that. Especially considering I believe the last time was 2006?

Still shocking to me to see CTJ be placed below upcoming bands like cypress woods and seven lakes, not as a dig to those programs, but it’s just interesting because not too long ago, it would have been considered an interesting prediction

I agree with this, but I’d also like to make sure we don’t forget about Jersey Village, thought they had improved a bit from the 2023 mishap. Though 12 bands to finals. I’m WAITING to see this. It’s TIME the bubble bands get in!!!

I refuse to give up on my bubble groups for finals, I now hope for langham and cy ranch to make it, Katy might be falling behind a bit unfortunately and it’s sad to see.

I’m starting to really like the direction Cy-Springs has taken in terms of show design, they’ve improved a lot as well, and personally I could see them contending for area finals POSSIBLY, this year, more so next year.

I know a few shows, though I won’t release them until the end of the next marching season.

I think Langham and Cy-Ranch need to atleast have consistent showings in area finals, but a usual suspect that I could see falling could be Katy.

Well in Area I a state finalist could end up 19th, still make finals(somehow?) and end up getting 5th at state finals. Wouldn’t be surprised to see that happen next year LOL

Honestly what bothers me the most about this previous areas contest, is we all talked about who was making finals the entire season. Only for very close scores(1) point with inconsistent Judging across the board lol. So as much as I HATE to say this, it’s still up for grabs in terms of finals, I mean you could have adjusted one groups score by 1 and they would’ve jump up 3-4 spots lol. But nonetheless, Langham Creek and Cy-Ranch have showed tremendous growth in these programs. They’ve produced a sound that I would have never thought to hear out of these bands a few years ago. Congrats to Katy on a successful season as well.
