I’m starting to see what you’re saying, although to me it sounds like someone is pushing past their best sound to the point where it’s noticeable, but it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb, and you can hear it clearly in the sound, but it’s covered up at the same time? Or someone is playing with too much edge?

Regardless of these results, every. Single. One. Of. These. Bands. Should be extremely proud of these performances, because they SHOWED UP, and SHOWED OUT in This Texas heat. From the smallest 1A Band, to the biggest 6A band.

To be honest I’m not sure between Vandegrift and Vista Ridge for that 1st place title! After seeing VR, I can only imagine the anticipation for prelims announcements/awards.
