I’ve given up hope of ever having 100% accurate placement predictions lol. All of these bands are so good and there are so many variables to account for when judging a performance in BOA. But I’m keep trying, it’s fun lol

Lol just realized I predicted timber creek above forney last week at HEB and was right but this time I have them switched lol. That’s what happens when you have to remember and compare the performances of 25 bands😩

Waxhahchie’s sound is so professional for such a young group of performers, it’s like listening to a pro wind ensemble on a marching field with the quality of blend and balance in the ensemble. All of their attacks are crisp and clear, the woodwinds technique is clean as a whistle

I liked the attention detail with the theme. I liked the street lamps and the authentic Sherlock holme’s outfit for the lead guard member. Definitely one of the more solid performing groups I’ve heard in the DFW area. They’re So good at playing boldly with clean technique!

Flomo’s band is so big! That line of musicians coming onto the field is long!

Love the confidence in Bell’s sound this year! Also a subtle but intriguing thing I noticed this year and last year is how well the woodwinds speak during the ballad, specifically during the build up to the arrival.
