Churchill is a state finalist in the next 5 years. I’m calling it now.

Churchill has also had lots of rehearsals with Mr Vollmar. The BD when Churchill won state. He’s definitely helping them a lot.

I agree with your top 3. Everything is not set in stone. In my opinion, literally everybody is sleeping on Churchill. Just like McNeil has made changes, Churchill has made changes too. I genuinely think Churchill and McNeil are state contenders and people need to realize that. Also, if there are 6 state spots, I think that it almost guarantees that one of those bands makes state. adding my predictions. 1. Reagan 2.Cedar Ridge 3.Round Rock 4.CTJ 5. Churchill 6. McNeil 7. Dripping Springs 8. Westwood 9. Bowie 10. MG Johnson I know these seem far fetched after previous seasons but I really think this is what Area could look like.

You’re right. That’s my bad. Music is very subjective and saying something like that could hurt people’s feelings. On another topic… I go to Churchill so obviously I’m biased but I’ve been in the band for 3 years and I can confidently say this is the best we’ve looked, sounded, and felt since 2019. We’ll see what happens at area but me personally I feel really good about the program.

Not having Churchill higher is a crime. Please stop sleeping on them. Churchill is better than McNeil and McNeil beat Dripping Springs. Many improvements have been made to their band.

Don’t forget about Churchill!!! They beat McNeil! Churchill is definitely right up there with Westwood and McNeil for that finals spot.

So at Tmc yesterday McNeil beat dripping springs. Churchill beat McNeil at Vista Ridge Marching Festival. I know my logic is flawed because of different scoring methods but could Churchill medal here? Possibly even win it since CTJ isn’t going??

But fr tho finals for this area are gonna be crazy. last year it was Johnson, Reagan, Cedar Ridge, Round Rock, Dripping Springs, Bowie, Westwood, McNeil, Churchill, and Weiss. This year, Johnson isn’t as great as they used to be and, Churchill and McNeil are significantly better than years past. If dripping springs made state last year but got beat by McNeil, who got beat by Churchill, could Churchill make state this year? Or is this area still way to competitive to even think that.

I’ve just been informed from a buddy of mine at CTJ….they aren’t going to BOA Waco anymore. They’re broke cause of nats.

Predictions for top 5… 1. Dripping 2. CTJ 3. Wylie 4. Churchill 5. M&G Johnson I don’t think Wylie could beat CTJ or Dripping and because it’s not lookin great for CTJ I think Dripping will beat them. As for 4 and 5, it’s really a toss up cause both bands are quite good.

But aren’t a few of them going to Nats? They might be able to sneak in.

Not CTJ’s year. Dripping springs takes this for sure. In my opinion, you have Churchill to low. They just took first overall at Vista Ridge beating McNeil, Brandeis, O’Connor and Lake Belton.

What a Churchill W. Predicted 3rd after a 5th place finish last year and took 1st this year. They’re on the up. I think Churchill could make state this year and could def be top 5 at BOA Waco.

Don’t sleep on Churchill. They are recovering really well from Covid and have a crazy big sound for their size. Defiantly a finals band.

Stevens and Weiss are not going to place above Churchill. Top 3 make sense but 4th will probably be Glenn and 5th Churchill. New Braunfels is also a sleeper school.

Does Churchill have a shot at making finals this year? I know last year it wasn’t a good run for them but they have a history of having really good general effect. Do you think that will put them up there?
