  1. Rankings 1. Marcus 2. LD Bell 3. Duncanville * 4. Churchill * 5. Reagan * 6. Langham Creek 7. Coppell 8. Bowie 9. Berkner 10. Akins * A three way tie for third, places determined through some tiebreaker method. Duncanville - Such an upbeat show....it seemed to keep you happy through it all, guard included. But man, Coppell is such a large band just like Reagan, and their drill emphasized each person/section in a way to keep you interested all the way through the performance. Great Job to everyone!!!! And Im still a HUGE fan of L.D. Bell, I still loved their shortened UIL version - Even though they took out the set where the guard hit the walls - they sell that show so well.
  2. That same thing always happens to us to, I think thats why we went to BOA Houston
  3. WoW....35 Winds?? Thats how many we have in our guard, @ the most I think, but that must be nice that yall are that small in some ways
  4. Man I feel bad for yall, your program cant grow cause all the other high schools in your district are. But arent you guys apart of Northside ISD? Your district is growing like crazy, well it always has been
  5. HAHAH Barisaxy08 - Youd be a Tuba in my book..... I mean who else has the patience to play our parts ALL the time in band - LOW REEDS! And for the record we have 3 girls in our Tuba section... LOL!!! They handle buisiness though, dont get me wrong
  6. Im not angry or anything.. ..I never was really, I just wanted to explain what our director told us - If I can speak for myslelf.
  7. Hmmm, well think of those, but more reddish and burgundy colors...instead of green.
  8. I think its different for any school. I think it's the tradition of the football team and all of the other things that keep kids coming to Judson for Band. And when they see many of the different things we do for concert season also. But yea having a good feeder sets the program up too...
  9. Well - Wheather this next statement has "class" or not, but all Im gonna throw out there is that our show was designed and written FOR BOA BY a BOA judge..Richard Saucedo himself..not for UIL, I mean it does suck that the judge thought that about us, but it was a decision that was made for this year by the staff. And may I add: Westfield did have a good show in my opinion, there were many good things that stuck out to me...along w/ Cedar Park too - MAN that cymbal line!!!! Ive NEVER seen a cymbal line do so many things visually. Yall's shows keep my attention And, be ready for saturday...all I gotta say
