At this point. Anyone with a spotless performance can take the last state spot, it’s all about the performance!! Every band in finals has improved a lot. If Leander was here still, no one would be able to make state.

Just out of curiosity, why was Area H created? I know it started in 2016 but I’m still confused on why was areas changed?

One thing I wish UIL would do is to split the bands into other areas when there is low attendance to area like in this case. So that way there is more intense competition. Which would make programs upgrade their shows just in case for a situation like this. Yes it’ll be more stress on other area competition for more bands, but gives opportunity for tougher competition.

I believe because 3rd and 4th has tied so they are taking 4 bands. This year they are taking 4 with the amount of bands that got 1st division. Hope that helped

I think Brandeis has the possibility of taking 3rd place ? I would drop Del Rio to either 9th or 10th place based on recent videos

Is there a area H competition for this year, And are the bands listed of who will be performing? I was not sure if UIL combined area G and H together again.

The West Texas band are majorly improving. We have to watch out for the Wild West ? Permian ??

To be fair the balled was completely different but I get what you are saying and agree in a way. Opener was the same as last years but the next part was the same with some sight twist in it
