McKinney North and High are confirmed for Wylie via calendars

Considering McKinney North being very close to Aledo at BOA Waco and on their good run at Area last year had them well ahead of Lone Star, I can see them making finals on bottom half.

McKinney High is going, North and Boyd staff dont like doing comps that early so they wont, could see happening in the future if the yearly UIL thing doesnt work out and we get the “BOA” years

Right, got my calendar dates mixed, and its ProsperISD so they will be Area B since WEast moved from Area B 5A to Area C 6A, and for my prediction just move everyone up and is still valid.

I dont see how the current showing is gonna lead to 3 groups getting 2s frankly, only risk of a 2 I can see is maybe Allen getting field penalty at region, but they are smaller than normal so thats most likely not going to happen along with new UIL rule which allows electronics on field a bit earlier, were gonna most likely see 12 finals and 6 state spots.

Well the issue is not that they arent clean, but more that the shows are easier than recent years but are visibly sloppier, at this point in the season with the COVID year not being too much of a valid excuse considering last years success for both. And I am not saying they are bad, faaaaar from it, but its just odd to me how dirty they are with a relatively simple show FOR Flower Mound, could just be a rough start and be completely wrong come the end of the season.

Somethings going on with the Lewisville schools at least to me, Flower mound despite their easier show visually, had pretty visible errors, and impacts weren't as strong as their regular output, and Marcus scored pretty low at HEB, almost getting beat by Wakeland (no disrespect by the way, Wakeland is clearly putting in a lot of work) but Marcus’s score is lower than usual, DFW BOA is going to be pretty interesting, and I have no idea how Hebron is doing right now.

There are 32-33 bands participating to advance to area, so unless 3-4 get twos at region which is looking more unlikely with Garland and Forney schools recent success, there will be 12 area finalist spots and 6 state qualifiers spots.

Ive heard of people going from Wylie people and this is roughly the list I have: 1.Flower Mound 2.Keller Central 3.Lake Ridge 4.Lebanon Trail 5.Liberty 6.Lone Star 7.Lovejoy 8.Mansfield 9.McKinney 10.McKinney Boyd 11.Sachse 12.Summit 13.Wylie (duh) This is also not confirmed and could see more or less faces here, but these are the groups I'm fairly certain are going.
