    Iā€™d like to announce the new director of Sachse is j.k. simmons was previous director for the worlds best jazz band now woodlands might have some competition now

    itā€™s only the first quarter of the year and already lots of changes not just band related so I canā€™t even keep up whatā€™s going on

    I agree but hopefully itā€™s a really good director of not better cause there are not very much directors in my opinion available to just grab that has the skills and mindset she has cause that was my school Iā€™m just scared cause I donā€™t want to see them go downhillšŸ¤žas for Wylie east yall have a really good band director replacement now so yall should be good

    Thatā€™s not all the bands that made state like lone star and Aledo and some other bands

    I think it would be cool to see all different class bands compete at state at the same times that way you would really know what you place as far as the best bands in Texas instead of just your own class even thought itā€™s probably not gonna happen cause that would require keeping all the bands at state for 3-4 days until they announce finals

    Still bummed about Sachse šŸ˜”felt like they couldā€™ve been higher but canā€™t be mad when expectations have already been met for them and are already moving up quick every year

    No I donā€™t think Sachse will make finals and I do see area judging be all over the place but from past contest this year theyā€™ve been really close to dville so I wonā€™t count them out just hoping they can be 15-17

    Sachse beat waxahachie and duncanville I wouldnā€™t rank them that low

    Iā€™m expecting it to be different cause of the judging system and only cause Iā€™ve been keeping up with sachse they beat waxahachie but donā€™t think they will beat them in state but I think it will be close and want to see forney surprise us as well

    They are gonna need to find another scoring category soon to help make it easier but overall canā€™t wait til we have more contest like this we could be having some new bands sneak into regional finals next couple of years like Sachse,lake Travis and some other bands,Iā€™ve been watching Sachse and they have been moving up like crazy last couple of years canā€™t wait to see them more
