Qe can't BOA have the same captions as DCI like percussion, aux, and brass caption?
-
Coppell wins with a front Ensemble caption and tenor caption. Vista gets 2nd with a cymbal caption. Hebron gets 3rd with a bass and snare caption. In the SS1 silver

I accidentally deleted the page last time

Surprised to see that no one put Vista as best Pit, because that pit feature was pretty good and clean. But you know I didn't see any other Front Ensemble's since I was performing

I'm not sure how long Vista Ridge has been using field mics, perhaps they haven't fully figured out how to use them to their advantage yet. However, CTJ, who has been using them for a few years now, if not longer, has definitely mastered using the amplification to their advantage. I hope to either see more groups using full field amplification in the future, or seeing a rule change regarding the usage. I think the scores show that a levelling of the playing field is necessary in some way or another.
This is the first year Vista used amplification on the field, and I believe they did just so the woodwinds could speak out a little more. But I don't know much about amplification myself.

HOLY COW VISTA MURRIETA!!!

Oh no! I remember being in that position a few years ago. Hope y'all get down here safe!
Thank you, I don't know what will happen if we are late

Vista has bus problems. We have 3 busses that showed up and we are almost 2 hours late on leaving.

I just came back from the football game Vista vs Hendrickson. Vista didn't perform due to weather, but I'm not giving up my hopes on Hendrickson. They didn't make finals at Austin because of time, but there visual and music performance is pretty strong and I think they might have just a chance to be in either the final at San Antonio or even a close bubble group

It went up. Main change is Robinson dropping and Forney being added, therefore Cedar Ridge was pushed onto panel 2. They were previously at the end of the first block and on panel 1.
Ah ok I see, thank you

Did a new schedule get put up or am I just mistaken?
-
Does Anyone know when the Boa San Antonio Schedule will be posted on the Bands of America Website?
Weird I thought they posted the times already, I guess they are rescheduling some things?

What an amazing performance from every band today, congrats to broken arrow. If I'm not mistaken flower mound got 5th and a caption. Amazing!!! Should've deserved top 3. Vista ridge in 12th and looking at the scores, I gotta say they might have been robbed, there show has been amazing, and from san Antonio the score seems to be in the same place, but prove me wrong if you please. They definitely deserved top 10, but I'm not a judge so I can't say anything really. I'm really sad not to see round rock in there, wish they were there in finals, but we all still love you round rock!!! Can't wait to see what next season comes!! Also not to mention that Vista also got the rose parade invitation, exciting!! Blue springs show was really cool, love the steam punk theme, and William Mason top Gunn, the sound effects were really cool. I would love to talk more about the bands but i got an early flight so goodnight and congrats to everyone!!
