i just wanted to be the first to congratulate any member of txbands.com that may have obtained drum major. I received the position yesterday and realized all that was about to be put in front of me. I hope that you are able to lead your band well and make sure you make the best of the season that you could possibly make because everything that you do will affect the band...so you hold the fate of the band in your hand. once again...congratulations!

we jus had our DM auditions thursday and we will have all of our section leaders and DMs announced this coming monday. oh the joys of waiting!

who wants to claim the ownership of the vote for "no"

i wasn't saying that a "band manager" was a "band president"... i was saying that his position would relate to ours and blah blah blah... but after figuring out exactly what he did...i found out that he would be more of a "quartermaster/uniform officer" if he was at our school. case closed.

we jus had drum major auditions at Westfield and I would just like to say that i am proud and nervous to have went against the competition that i had... it would only mean more to me if i received the position as drum major... Judging by the drum major canidates...i think that our band is going to be a lot stronger and I'm excited to see what happens after this.

all i gotta say is... BRING IT!

i remember one time we used to run a lap for every minute we were late and i was 4 minutes late...so i had to run a mile without streching that musta been so much fun after all the gaggin and heart pains stopped...
