Sorry, I didn't mean anything tacky. I was mentioning my band because we ARE starting to find ourselves, but I was just waiting for someone's thoughts on other bands and then I was going to add the bands I see. Here are some bands I have been watching: Pioneer Vandegrift (because they have not yet been to GN) Dripping Springs Also, the thread younger talking about discusses more well known bands that are foreseen to improve in the future. My thread is about either lesser known bands or bands thatvarent given the credit they deserve. That's why I created this thread. It wasn't meant to be tacky. Sorry if that bothered you. And yes, I do go to Madison and was trying to put our name out there and see what people actually think of us and not putting things in people's head. Again, sorry for the confusion.

And also if it's Keller Central you are talking about, they are usually a finalist band so they are most likely moving to another competition.

Usually when high schools pull out of a competition, it's because they are joining another one that is either less crowded or closer to them.

This is what I have for finals as of now: 1. Flomo- they have blossomed into gods. 2. Avon- I am changing my mind as I have been brought up to speed on some things. 3. Leander- they got third last year and I can see a slight chance of them surprise everyone and even pass Avon. 4. The Woodlands- come on. 5. Hebron 6. Vandy 7. CTJ 9. Marcus 10. Reagan 12. Cedar Park 13. Churchill 14. Keller Central Don't ask me why. And of course, these are just predictions.

Honestly right now this is what I have: 1. Flomo 2. BA 3. Avon 4. The Woodlands 5. Carmel 6. William Mason 7. Marcus 8. Round Rock 9. Blue Springs 10. Marion Cathol 11. Castle 12. Union It's early in the season, but flomo has blossomed to gods in the last three years and the woodlands has consistently put out amazing shows and won in 2013, and I am confident Texas bands will come up big this year. And I know that I have Avon lower at SA, but I have been thinking a lot lately about them. I still think BA can beat them. Marion Catholic could of course surprise everyone with yet another win though

My top 5 in finals so far (no order) James Madison Pioneer Dripping Springs Lee (might be a little bold on this) Homer Hanna IDK the rest just yet. Let me know what you think.

Lately I have been seeing different bands starting to make a name for themselves. What bands do you know are rising up? And what do you think of these bands? James Madison has been steadily improving over the years, and had a wonderful show in 2016. Not only did they win a competition, place only .1 behind first at the next competition as jumped 10 places at BOA San Antonio, they also managed to get chosen as a feature band at the Fiesta Band Festival. What do you think of this band?

Yeah, but they also won't have the time to clean like they normally do. They usually have a couple Saturdays off to really work on the show, but that won't happen here. They also have Leander, Vandegrift, the woodlands, and hebron to go up against here.
