Has Kaufman improved in the past few years? They were at 4A State in 2022 and I don't know how that compares to their current state

Yeah, I think I'm way high on both of the 4A move-ups. I am least experienced with DFW out of the major metros by a long shot.

Not going to lie, I'm not entirely convinced there's going to be a 5A Area H next year. I could see those schools getting parted out mostly to D, Alice and Corpus schools to G moving some of the northern D schools (Belton, Waco, Corsicana) into DFW areas and the Victorias into E.

7. Marcus H.S., TX 92.925 9. Dripping Springs H.S., TX 92.225 Not meant to be a slight at Dripping Springs, but can we acknowledge that it's ridiculous that they are in the same point as MARCUS? We saw what I believe to be a pretty representative spread between them at State, and I suspect it would've been similar had Marcus attended the Super Regional. But oh well, what's a little more inconsistent judging to cap off the year? Congrats to Dripping Springs on their successes this season!

If two opportunities don't pan out that's the greater part of a decade. And you don't have forever in a director. I'm not sure there's many more chances.

I was just reopening this thread to say something similar. We gotta nudge them towards BOA McAllen. Easily 2 performances for them in BOA 1A, if they aren't genuinely making finals on merit as is. Perhaps it's too early in the season and their shows take time to polish?

And that's the season. For myself that was 624 performances over 24 contests. Haven't run the numbers on how many unique bands. It may be a very long time before I get another season where I can enjoy it to this extreme. I have more thoughts than I have words to describe them. Thank you to all the bands!
