Looks like rain in the forecast for Tuesday at around 1pm onward. Is there a contingency for the warmup areas? It seems this may benefit the earlier prelims performers.

I think Coppell and Flower Mound are in the mix too. If Bell was in it, they'd be a contender. Why not the band that beat them in Denton and Area?

The statement about Bell being near the top of would make me think you would rank Flower Mound higher since they beat Bell in 2 contests this year.

What I find interesting is how much space judge 1 put between Marcus and the next band (Bell) in prelims They scored them with a 920, and Bell had a 613. In the finals Judge 4 did something similar. They scored Marcus with a 918, and their 2nd place band Hebron had a 751. All the other judges had the bands closer.

Bands seem to always want a late draw, because supposedly the judges save points in case a later band has an outstanding performance, especially if one or more of those bands are traditional powers. Given the quality of bands with early draws, does that help or hurt bands with later draws like Reagan at 15:30, Duncanville at 15:45, or Flower Mound way at the end of Prelims at 17:15?
