It doesn't make any sense to give a band a slot that early in the morning, they would have to leave at the time of the worst weather tomorrow morning. Getting a slot at 7:00am is basically the same as getting no slot at all.

Another thing to think about is that, with the weather being what it is, there will likely be no electronics during the competition. For bands who rely heavily on electronics (such as Leander, although I'm sure they'll be fine, they do have a lot of mics, noises, etc.), this could adversely affect their performances if they aren't ready for it. Although I'm not sure of all the bands that have a lot of electronics in their shows.

It does seem that the LISD schools and Dripping Springs are pretty far ahead of the rest of the pack. The next school on my prediction list would be Connally, but they got beat by Hays at the Vista Ridge contest, and Dripping Springs beat Hays by almost 10 points in Westlake finals; and I'll go ahead and assume that Vista and Drip are still on around the same level. So it seems to me, barring some crazy judging or very bad performances (which are very possible considering the weather), I'd say the top five are pretty locked in.
