its not the kind of movie where its possible to have a sequel. the entire point of the movie is that its one entire videotape, completely contained within itself, even the stuff (like the entire beginning sequence and the coney island bits) that wouldnt be there if it were a regular movie. if there was a sequel, it wouldn't really be the same, because it would obviously have to be from a completely different point of view or something, and therefore could be a completely different movie. also, i just have to say, the bit with the horse & carriage was my favorite part of the entire movie.

oh man, i played Southern Harmony my freshman year. you better believe we had clapping lessons! lol and our picc player went up at the end of movement 3, but shes like amazing even though she was in our 2nd band that year.

I miss it, but only because i'm a hopeless nerd.

hence the grin. im angry but also pretty darned excited. also, at least they arent using any of the same music. but if it ends in a smilie face, i'll either jump up and down screaming for joy or in murderous rage; havent quite decided yet.

I did much better than I thought I would this year =). My way to not be nervous was to basically say screw it, i'm not gonna make region anyway. I was pretty sure I wouldn't, because I had been sick the whole week and hadn't gotten to practice at all. So I went in completely relaxed and didnt get nervous at all. I made it! =D

We definately had an impromptu TxBands meetme at region 26. It was pretty gangster.

oh man, we have SO MANY, but most of them are individual ones. before we go out for our pre competition practice, we listen to music (usually bohemian rhapsody and soulja boy) over the gigantic band hall speakers. then, once we get there, we have section time before we warm up. most of the sections have a ritual then... the trombones just sit around and say dont suck. i love playing trombone =)) then, after warm up, we all gather around our director and he goes through the whole show with our eyes closed. then we set up. for me personally, i always have to touch plumes with my friend. a lot of people have little stuff like that. then, once we're lined up like IN THE TUNNEL, the trombones do the trombone handshake and mouthpiece toasts and stuff like that. lol and usually at the alamodome at least one person uses the bathrooms in the tunnel.

Okay, sorry, but. AHEM. *waves* us too!

dear, dearest Winston Churchill. I would love so much if you would play like a whole TON in your shows. because yall sounded amazing. like amazing grace? OHYEAH. sounded GREAT. please? please? i want to hear more of that sound! it was SO GOOD. also. brazoswood. yall are awesome. getting to talk with yall on the way into retreat was great!

um... good luck, our show might be on myspace video but its definately not on youtube at all. i know a whole bunch of places that you can find last years show, but this year... not so many.

Im really surprised that people booed Langham! I thought the show was really good, and if we had had to lose to someone, I wouldn't have minded it being yall. From the side at least, it looked really clean.

man, lame for duncanville! im not sure how the math works that they got fourth, with GE only being 30% and i will agree, that was a TOUGH crowd! they laughed more then they clapped at us, which is admittedly the point, but we're used to getting some applause at the end and that was pretty weak. darned crowds of fellow band students!

dayummmm how much did GE count as? also, i'd love caption scores uber a ton.

Don't worry, we all know that Akins always shows a great deal of class. Yall were the only band yelling for absolutely everyone at Area last year, and we really appreciated it. =)

If Cedar Park doesnt make finals with all of the dancing we got going on, I'm going to be very upset. We're poppin and lockin like never before! XD XD XD
