final scores posted https://recaps.competitionsuite.com/5f58fa14-b54b-4280-89f7-3ce99b3c45ce.htm scores in A class have def shot up a lot w/in a week. massive actually. higher scores than last yr despite being a week earlier. curious to see if the steering committee leaves Emerson in A or not. even if they don't, Melissa, Wylie, and Azle are all attending Dayton, too. open class: lil elm w/ a fab score to begin another Dayton year. scoring like they'll be back in finals and maybe top half. Coppell still doing very well also. where'd Marcus go?!! world class, flomo w/ maybe a lil bit of improvement yr over yr. scoring around where every other SW guard in the country seems to be scoring rn in their local circuits, including the regular Dayton finalists. mirage's score seems lower. TX IWs may have to sneak into finals this yr at Dayton, if they make the cut. weeee shall seeee.

yeah, lots of huge week over week score gains this weekend in TX, both w/in the local circuits and entering wgi. not really surprised. shows should be mostly done by now. the huge shift b/w dripping springs and Brandeis this weekend versus last is def interesting. won't really know b/w those two until wgi Austin.

some pretty interesting stuff that happened at pieper on saturday piper hs jv got a crazy high score of 76.22 but they hav been dominating the SJVRA class for a little bit now so i see them doing pretty well this season. dripping springs won nat a class with a over 5 point gap between them and 2nd. they also were beat by brandies last week but this week they were able to get way ahead of them. westlake hs was the winner of open with a pretty nice point gap between them and reagan. there were also a good bit of penalties all around the contest so idk what that could be about.

Recently graduated from Forney High School a few months ago in 2024 (marched clarinet all 4 years). I currently attend University of North Texas & marched in the Green Brigade this past season. Nowadays, I am a stressed out college freshman who also performs in UNT’s Concert Band (yeah i know a lot to handle), but I love band a whole lot!
