Keyboard_Countessa
Yay for snopes! And about people thinking that Texans ride horses to school... what I find even more humorous is how that idea goes around, while I'm always seeing cows in fields on the edges of busy streets or next to a pharmacy. Case Closed (read here): http://www.snopes.com/medical/potables/mountaindew.asp It's Snopes... its the truth. Technically it doesn't close the case because that urban myth was about shrinkage. i'm pretty sure that the FDA wouldn't approve of anything that could endanger your health, without putting a legal selling age on it. Actually I think parents of teenagers everywhere would want kids to drink something that would kill, as euro_euph06 put it, your "king's army" count thereby eliminating unwanted teen pregnancy. How's that for G-rated? (I'm sure it isn't true, but it's still amusing anyways)
Xenon
Technically it doesn't close the case because that urban myth was about shrinkage. The article also says that there are several variations of the myth including the reduced number of "soldiers" in the "King's Army".
