These results aren't terribly big of a deal to most people here, but give some great insights if you're following 3A state, as many 3A big names went to these two contests:

 

PG Invitational: (Texarkana, TX)

Classes were done by band size, rather than school size, with classes A-D.

(All of these top 4 are MAJOR 3A state contenders, Atlanta was 4A for awhile and usually made state finals, Queen City placed 4th at 3A state in 2017)
