Judson controlled the first quarter to the point where I didn't think we could beat them, then Duncanville controlled the ball and the clock throughout the second and third quarters to go ahead by like 5 points, Judson in the middle of the 4th Judson blocked a punt and ran it in for a TD to go ahead by 2. Then in the last 1 minute of the 4th quarter, Judson scored again to go up by 9, but Duncanville returned the kickoff to take it back to within 2 points with less than a minute on the clock. Duncanville then did a pooch kick close to the sideline and the Judson guy stepped away from the ball thinking that it was going to bounce out, but it bounced in and Duncanville pounced on the ball around the 35 surrounded by shocked Judson players. Duncanville then took a run and a timeout to prepare for the last play of the game; an almost 50 yard field goal attempt. Duncanville kicked the field goal and it went straight through the middle of the uprights with a lot of length to spare to put Duncanville up by 1 point on the last play of the game. At least that is how I remember it going. The details could be a little different, but that was the most exciting, scary, and thrilling football game that I had ever witnessed and it was the best way that my final football game with the band could have gone. Fortisimo Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Sounds pretty friggin' sweet... I think they still have the banner from that year up in their stadium. Quote
