Last year was a pleasant surprise and they're looking to be on the right track to compete with bands in the Triangle of they keep progressing. LKendrick Posted August 27, 2017 Report Share Posted August 27, 2017 I'm not gonna speak to the best or rank but Odessa Permian has me incredibly excited. Was awesome seeing them advance to state for the first time in a good while last year and I LOVE they're stepping back on the BOA stage for the first time in probably around two decades, the last record I can find of them at a BOA event is Waco in the late 90s; The prospect of a rising voice in the highest ranks of the Texas band scene from around where I live is pretty awesome.
