some bands top in 2A state didn’t make area this year, much less in this area, definitely going to be crazy

There are almost no results that I can find from any bands in this area  Santo won both Dublin and Stephensville competitions, so safe be they are top of the area. But besides that, its really just Honey Grove that I would guess for a state spot. If anyone has more comprehensive results from competitions in this area let me know.

I don't know of anything for this year, but Whitewright and Seymour were first 2 out last year, and Olney got 4th in prelims. With it being only one round this time, will be interesting to see who advances this time

I know Collinsville beat Honey Grove early in the season.

Well, at the Celina invitational two weeks ago, Honey Grovewon best 2A over whitewright and collinsville and swept all captions except for percussion that went to whitewright and HG overall placed 14th not sure about the others! 

But collinsville did beat both whitewright and honey grove at the whitesboro contest in september but Honey grove supposedly didn’t have all their show on the field yet and whitewright either?

and who did santo go against at those contests? any from this area?

This was the Stephenville contests 2A bands, so quite a few it seems. 
 

Can’t seem to find the Dublin schedule I saw, but there were a couple of bands there from this area as well.

HG did not make finals, and it seems the top 3 from prelims were Bangs, Cisco and Collinsville
