I'm a little surprised that there wasn't a thread on this topic yet, so let's spread some appreciation for the West Texas/Panhandle 6A bands!

This one is hard to predict as contest results in this area of Texas are hard to find... Midland is having a good year and is currently leading the reigning silver medalist, Frenship, in this area at every competition they have gone head-to-head at. Permian still takes gold here IMO and I honestly don't see anything changing from finals of last year, but bubble could be close. I could be sleeping on Pebble Hills to be a state advancement contender, but I can't seem to find their show video.

I think Permian takes it again, Pebble Hills will always be good so I have them at 2nd. After watching Midland live I can say they are back and will be taking that 3rd place and maybe a trip to San Antonio if the results allow it. Someone that we might see in finals that we didn’t see last year is Odessa, the progress they have had in the last year is to applaud.
